These beautiful papers are hand-printed with cherry blossoms on 7 different colours of washi - natural white, peaches and pinks, lilacs and red. Some of the printing inks glisten on the papers.
This pack of Large Kyoto Origami contains 35 square sheets - so that's 5 sheets of 7 sakura designs.
We've long admired the beautiful washi papers of Kyoto company Shogado, and we are so happy to be able to offer them here in our Zusetsu store!
Shogado craftsmen are highly skilled at screen-printing by hand these beautiful washi paper products, using Echizen and Kurotani as materials.
The designs are inspired by Edo komon patterns, reimagined in a contemporary way.
