Christmas Stars 
 
We thought it would be fun to offer you packs of 2 x ready-made origami Christmas stars!
 
We have made them using our beautiful packs of Large Chiyogami from Japan. 
 
We will use random colour papers for your stars, but they will all have the beautiful shimmery gold that is traditional for chiyogami papers, so your Christmas stars will look gorgeous and festive, whether you are putting them on your Christmas tree, or adding them for a final touch to your furoshiki gift-wrapped presents!
 
Each star is approximately 9cm in diameter.

Traditionally, chiyogami patterns were hand-stencilled or silk-screened in small studios. The designs are inspired by kimono patterns, and they shimmer with gold.
 
The name chiyogami comes from the word chiyo meaning 'one thousand generations', and the word kami meaning 'paper'.
 
We offer 4 designs of hand-made origami: Christmas Stars; Christmas Trees; Valentine Hearts; and Mount Fuji.
